About Me
Hi I'm Teo
I make sustainable resin jewelry with inclusion of real plants and other handmade elements.
With my designs I want to focus attention on the transient beauty of nature trying to make it permanent. I marvel at the simple and small that we usually overlook in the daily hustle and bustle of life.
Handpicked and sustainable
All the plants and materials I use in my jewelry are collected by myself and carefully dried. Of course I treat nature with respect, I choose and take only the necessary damage as little as possible. I work with sustainable resin to keep my ecological footprint as small as possible.
For the wire wrapping I almost always use recycled raw copper wire, concentrating on creating durable, comfortable and easy to use pieces. The metal is braided, sawed, hammered and soldered, always taking care of the smallest details to achieve a small sculpture to adorn the human body.
My work is inspired by folklore, deities, geometric shapes, in general in nature.
I do my work in my small studio in Monterrey, the city of the mountains, Mexico.
I hope you enjoy your visit!
